Senior Constable Gerard De Leon joined Victoria Police in 2005 and is one of Victoria Police’s newest Gay and Lesbian Liaison Officers (GLLO) having completed the GLLO course in July 2011. Gerard is attached to the Operations Response Unit (ORU). The ORU provides highly visible and highly trained police to assist local police in responding to identified policing issues.
