GLLO Lite Week 2
The crew are now well and truly settled in to life without Paul Anthony in this the second week of GLLO Lite. This week was also the first in our new timeslot in the new JOY 94.9 grid. Listen to us each and every Wednesday midday to 1pm, or police parlance, 1200 to 1300.
This week Greg Adkins (Anti-Violence Project) and Sgt Scott Davis discuss all things summer safety. Loads of tips on travelling safely to and from the major GLBTI events over the summer period via public transport or just walking.

EVERY year…. “some” lesbians ruin the Carnival by brawling. They really bring down the atmosphere of the event and are an embarrassment to our community. If they are not fighting, they are being rude and aggressive towards men. They push to the front of the line, they are verbally abusive. This event should be a place where we can get away from this kind of rubbish and relax in ourselves. Instead of celebrating with fellow gay men, they seem to hate us as much as straight men. They take advantage of the fact that men generally will not raise a hand towards a woman. So they get aggressive knowing they are not likely to get something back. Quite frankly, these women need to clean up their act or we’ll just leave them behind. Why should we bother combining with them at events such as this. We want to have a good time.
